WHAT IS THE HYALURON PEN?

The Hyaluron Pen is a non-invasive, needle-free infusion enhancement treatment that can be used to create volume, shape and lift. The FDA-Approved off-label use of the Hyaluron Pen is a needle-free device that has a special piston with a spring that creates a high-pressure jet to uniformly and quickly infuse HA fillers into the skin.

The diameter of this microscopic flow is 0.17 mm, twice as small as the smallest insulin needle.
The process is much more comfortable than a needle injection.
There is very little downtime since there is minimal to no bruising.
The pen is similar to other needle-less and jet injection systems that are sometimes used to deliver vaccines and other medications, like those used for clients/patients with needle-phobias.

WHAT IS HYALURONIC ACID (HA)?

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a natural acid found in our joints, eyeballs and skin. It is composed of two sugars (Glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine). Hyaluronic Acid is also the main structural element of connective tissue. Its primary function is to attract water and keep the skin hydrated, plump and youthful. Since the human body creates HA naturally, it is impossible to be allergic to it. As we age, our body decreases the amount of HA and collagen produced, which causes skin to look older. As a result, wrinkles form and the skin begins to sag. By infusing HA into the skin we revive the collagen and promote a fresher, plumper look.

HOW LONG DOES THE HA LAST AND WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

Longevity varies and depends on the client. Results last from 3 weeks to 12 weeks or longer, depending on several factors.

Some clients’ bodies metabolize the product faster than others.
High metabolism, active lifestyle, and weight loss all result in faster process time.
Dehydration during the two weeks after the treatment also shortens the product’s lifespan.
Engaging in hot yoga, using a sauna or eating salty food can significantly affect the product’s longevity.

Longevity is cumulative. While there is still filler in the area, results will last longer and longer with each treatment. Those with base filler in the treatment areas will see longer-lasting results. Without base filler in your treatment area, you can expect the product to have a shorter life span. You will need to build up the filler and moisture in the skin to help the filler last longer. After your first time getting filler in a particular area, it is highly recommended to schedule a touch-up visit two weeks after for longer lasting results.

BEFORE YOU COME IN FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT, BE SURE TO:

Drink a lot of water before your appointment and for the two weeks following the appointment. If you are drinking coffee or alcohol, drink twice as much water.
Avoid processed food and eat vitamin K-rich foods to help your filler last.

WHAT KIND OF HA DOES NIGHTLY OPULENCE BEAUTY ADMINISTER?

Nightly Opulence exclusively uses a pure, vegan, cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel of the highest quality, by Skyn Aesthetics Group, LLC. It is a cross-linked, colorless and transparent gel-type product with viscoelasticity composed of non-animal hyaluronic acid. It is 100% Sodium Hyaluronate; a Hyaluronic Acid Gel that is comparable to Juvederm.

Results last from three weeks to twelve weeks or longer, depending on several factors:

presence of base filler in the treatment area(s)

THE INFUSION ENHANCEMENT TREATMENT PROCEDURE

We recommend 3 – 9 session enhancement treatment procedures depending on how full you would like your lips and/or skin to be.

A Beauty Wellness consultation will be provided to discuss what you want your desired appearance to look like, where you would like improvements and what your concerns are. Each person’s skin and lips are different and we will be able to determine how many enhancement treatment procedures you will need once we have the Beauty Wellness consultation with you.

We will use a numbing agent (available at an additional cost) to make sure the process is as pain-free as possible, most say a pinch is really all they feel. After numbing the area, we will begin the procedure which lasts about 30 to 120 minutes. After the procedure is over we will apply Arnica gel on the treated area to help start the healing process. Very light swelling, bruising, pin-point bleeding and small bumps and/or lumps at the penetration site can occur which is normal, and will subside after a few hours but may take up to 3 days.

Treatments can be scheduled 2 – 4 weeks apart from the last procedure. This is to ensure the lips and/or skin are able to heal properly and allow the enhancement to process naturally. The more treatments you have done, the longer your results will last, overtime. Results last anywhere from 3-12 weeks. We recommend that you receive 3 to 9 sessions for optimal results.

Has Diabetes/Under the care of a physician
Acute of Chronic Skin Diseases in the area to have performed treatment
Active, inflammatory acne
Hypersensitivity to any of the constituents of the filling preparations
Currently on Blood Thinning Medications/Anti-Coagulants.
Pre-disposition to hypertrophic scars and keloids
